Dont worry, the only reason for posing my question was to make sure that it wouldn't be considered off topic.
Highscore is a list, more so than a topic, at least that was my understanding as to why Samuel made the time to compile it as well as the time to maintain it.
Samuel himself has been moderating his own topic, and has been very lenient in regard to members drifting off topic, which is not only considerate on his part, but rather dull in terms of a topic, if all you can post here is statements thanking Samuel for making the time to create, maintain, or add someone to the list. Most other conversation or statements made by members outside of that, could truly fall more appropriately under another topic as Pyrizzle pointed out earlier (my previous post concerning this was one sincerely out of appreciation, even though I attempted to include some humor).
Essentially what I learned early on concerning the
Highscore list, or topic was, that it is a great point of reference for players seeking guidance, advice, or general answers, to reference the list and pick out someone, perhaps in the top 10, for assistance. It also stands as an alternative goal for players to strive to achieve placement on, and rise in the ranks of (in terms of healthy competition).
For me personally, I have found it of late to be an entertaining form of tracking the insane amount of Chaosreapers that players have been acquiring. After I collected 20 of them, I decided to eliminate them from my stats altogether, as they are taking up more space than I care for, with the 255 character limitation being in place. I additionally chose to remove them as they are not legendary items, and in my opinion, it's only a matter of time before the list of extraordinary items grows to a point that either the 255 character limitation will have to be raised, or they just won't fit in your signature.
No that didn't hurt one bit, now did it?
