You could stash them in any area you don't frequent often that's also easy to access.

I looked in the suggested ideas and didn't find the suggestion that was made here - that is, sorting items automatically. I don't know that much about programming in Java, but to me it seems to be a rather easy bit of code that would implement this. I didn't want to create a new thread over in the ideas section though, maybe this feature is already in the works or something.
