yeah...

i think its: 0.5% x 0.01 (Extraordinary)
or: 0.5% x0.001 (Legendary)

not 50% for the expected drop totals.

OK so the MF makes the drops higher, but does that include the drops of the counted items. If it does, then by the same token, since it is easier to get the polished gems, shouldn't the measurement be the same, i.e. you still need 1000, you will just get to 1000 faster??

MF is only supposed to affect Uncommon items, so rocks, gems, etc., should remain good counters for getting uncommon items like the RoLS for instance.

ON JUNE 10th...

I will be grinding for the RoL with my third character at some point tonight to compliment my defensive build.

Well I've been grinding away for the RoL for approximately 4 hours during the last four days and have accumulated 56 Polished sparkling gems, but no RoL. I have No magic finder and I don't intend to. I am at level 26 now after gaining three levels during the grind. If I don't get it by level 30 then it will be time for clear and reload strategy as I don't want to level-up to much.
