To number1gunner (however you spell it): Mino was right about not being able to finish the quest until you choose either Prim or BWM, but you can get into the cave, and even take out the bridge guard before that, as I recall it. At worst, you will be limited to the first part of the cave, which has 5 of the 8 imps that can drop the RoL. One other player accidently did not side with either town and was locked out of the second half of the cave, but got his RoL. (Hmm, that sounds like you do need to start the quest before you can cross the bridge, I may be remembering it wrong.) So you can definitely grind for the RoL without picking a side in the Prim-BWM conflict. You need the two pieces of the chant to get past the guy on the bridge, but you can find those on your first trip up the mountain, long before you decide which town to side with.

I need a little help with the Light in the Darkness quest. I've been up and down BWM trying to find pieces of the ritual. I have the first and third pieces but can't seem to find the second piece. Where is it exactly? I also already
have both halves of the chant

three pieces are just outside Blackwater Settlement
(literally, the cave area just outside - with the robed Wyrm Trianers / Masters)

the other two are on the long road back to Prim...
(the rocky area closest to prim, check all the empty corners and cliffs for trails you missed...
it is off on the side - just off screen.

and the cabin between the two settlements, there is a similar cliff to the south - check there!

Hello adventurers... I'm having problems with the lich quest... I have been cursed and have defeated the lich... I even got the demon heart- but when I seek help for my curse it says come back when I have defeated the creature... I went back to do it again thinking something went wrong and sure enough- he is no longer there... I think I'm stuck :?

Let me help you:
I encountered this strange situation too, IMO this is a small bug in conversation. Go back in those place where you find this lich, you found strance looking helmet in ground just behind the place where lich stands earlier

Oke what now im have only left andors quest and lost potion ant tresure but this quest it cant be done.what now.im lvl 39. Please help

i got a blood disorder in the bmw now it wont heal.
