FINALLLLLLLYYYY!!! 1859 small rocks (+4 MF) later I finally got myself a RoLS! I did a double and triple take before I could really believe it! I have been grinding that dungeon so long I felt lucky that I was able to find my way out.

I am on top of the Andor's Trail world!

Restarted character on Acer A500 and at Level 18 got the RoLS after only 114 rocks! I couldn't believe it. Still grinding on home PC.

Alright... I started a new build i really like so now i gotta buckle down and do something i don't want to do... Get a Rols. O,O

This time i decided to not kill Maelveon, let him watch me kill 10,000 (or with my luck probably 25,000) of his Shadow Gargoyle Trainers and Shadow Gargoyle Masters while he has to stand there unable to help them.

Vengence will be mine, and it will be sweet.

Woohoo! Got my RoLS in very good time!

I went down there at LVL 16 with:
- 77 Regular Potions of Health
- 34 Ruby Gems
- 3 Polished Gems
- 12 Small Rocks
- 4,276 Gold

I came out at LVL 24 with:
- 201 Regular Potions of Health
- 392 Ruby Gems
- 116 Polished Gems
- 334 Small Rocks
- 23,830 Gold
- 1 RoLS!!!

It was dropped by a Shadow Gargoyle Trainer in the southern chamber. When started my quest at level 16, I noticed a negative trend in my potion consumption, as I leveled up (I added mostly added % to attack chance), I saw a positive trend and came out with a large surplus in potions.

This is my first build and I am very pleased. My philosophy is to attack first and land the hits. I have a base 115% (201% modified) attack chance and 3 attacks per round. This allows me to go light on block chance and armor as I defeat most enemies in the first round. I can’t wait to get that second skill point in combat speed, and then work on getting cleave, followed by corpse eater. This will turn my little fellow into a self-feeding tornado… Then again, I have been playing this game for a little over a week and I have not come close to experiencing the entire bestiary of AT. There might be some baddies out there who may make me wish I had created a tank build instead.

When i entered the gargoyle caves I noticed the same thing when i got in (my potions were dissapearing as i went along) after adding to my AC and switching to the Quickstrike Dagger i left the caves with quite a few potions in my bag. I got lucky and this time around i got mine with only 88 small rocks collected (waaay better than the last time when i left with aroud 4k rocks)

I have spent a month in the gargoyle caves… now, blinded by the light of the sun, I nearly forgot how green the grass was outside.

It took a lot longer to get the second RoLS than the first one and I nearly gave up, but I kept thinking… maybe the next one will drop it. The ruler I use is the number of times a trainer or master drops these 4 items: ruby gem, polished gem, small stone, and regular potion of health. I call it the “RoLS flush” (think poker). It happened once on my first quest and 11 times on the second.

Thanks Sarumar for planting the bug (grrrrr ). Now I am free of this curse and can quest again!!!
