best weapon?

What is the best overall weapon I can find. I'm using the dagger of the shadow priests as I can attack 3 times with 12 ap. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It really depends on what kind of build you're going for. But first you should get the jewel of Fallhaven (JoF) so you can get 4 attacks per turn.

For a critical hit build the dagger you're using is the best, but you should also equip other items that boost your critical skill. Keep in mind some monsters are immune to critical hits.

For a "hit and kill them before they can do anything" build, the quickstrike dagger is the go to weapon because it will let you hit 6 times if you also have the JoF.

For a balance between multiple hits and damage without sacrificing block chance, the aptly named balanced steel sword is good.

Other weapons have more specialized uses but the 3 above are general purpose.

Thanks, the topic was originally in Fallhaven Tavern, but I have trouble figuring out when it should go in General Discussion or Game Discussion, so now I have a better idea.

I would have to agree, as soon as i looted the Rapier of Lifesteal i equipped it and have not taken it off since.

Up until i got the ROL I was using the Quickstrike Dagger (my 2nd favorite weapon)

The best weapons in v0.7 would be your bare hands. The implementation of unarmed skills will see to that... I hope.

Just a thought, technically, since you have two hands, could you use both of them at once? In v0.7, would we be able to dual wield our fists? Or use a weapon and a fist?

I have found my favorite weapon, which is the balanced sword. It serves me pretty darn
