finaly answer on Prim VS Blackwater

hi all,
it now clear to me after doing both quest each time took 1 side that Blackwater side is the best.
after killing Guthbered and going back to Blackwater i was able to shop and buy some nice items.

Why did I go with Prim? All you get really is The Ring of Shadow embrace (dropped by Blackwater leader)

Raises max HP +20

The Prim shops have nothing. No wait. Less than nothing.
A broken shield and some blood stained gloves.

I don't think it's a definitive answer though, but at this point in the game I think Blackwater has the edge. It may change in the future as the story develops and how the current choices play out.

Just want to mention, the restore fatigue potion quest can be started without choosing sides.

There's also debate on how useful some of the BWM equipment really is since they give you Black Water Misery. Some say the main benefit of siding with BWM is having a bed for resting in both towns.

That Ring of Shadow embrace sounds pretty nice, I should have just killed the BWM king instead of letting him run off.

I like the Sword of Shadow's rage but when fighting the higher HP creatures, I prefer something with critical hit, and lower AP.

But I agree, its a good post and the visuals help

Also, Piggy, the one good thing I like about siding with Prim is taking speed (potion) for the extra AP boost.

Interesting choice.

I went with Primm and i wish i had picked BWS for the extra bed up the mountian. Both sides stores have weak or useless items or stuff you can harvest by grinding like Minor Potion of speed, blackwater iron sword, & blackwater dagger.

I'm hoping that in the future there will eventually be more available in each town

I sided with prim and didn't kill the blackwater leader so I have nearly nothing
But I'm ok with this, I tried out different options, looked at the ring of shadow embrace for example and didn't think it would be worth deciding against my sense of what would be right I think everybody just should be ok with his decision made at that point of the game, furthermore decisions now taken will perhaps have positive effects in future probably we'll meet the blackwater leader in future (for the ones who made the decision to let him live)
In the end all these items are not much better than the ones I actually have, so who cares

the ring doesnt sound to appealing to me and since the bwm gear has the bwm misery its pretty much worthless. I really dont want to take either side i might leave it till next upgrade. I do like the idea of being able to purchase the minor speed potion though, the drop rate foesnt seem to be to high.

The items from black water or prim is useless

Just that if you side with backwater you can sleep and rest there
