Mmm..
The game has not been abandoned. Work is slow and the devs have real lives to tend to. They don't make a living off of this.

I can understand where you're coming from though; many us are waiting for the next update. Remember, patience is needed.

Just because there hasn't been a release doesn't mean things aren't being worked on. Plus if you would like to see a release happen sooner please feel free to contribute.

@Barracuda777, I can understand your frustration, and I'm sorry about it.
We have not abandonned Andor's Trail, and are working to the best of our abilities towards the next version.
We have however experienced more than our share of issues over the past year (the past 15 months actually) that have litteraly eaten our (already small) time share allocatable to AT alive. I won't go into details about the specific issues, but know that AT could've died, if we didn't receive a hefty load of motivation from such a vibrant community, and a deep love for the game.

As Melarec kindly reminded, we have lives (more or less), jobs (including some new ones), families (including some getting larger).... and AT.

So, here we are, more than a year after the last time your Google Play app last noticed you that an update for AT was available, struggling, fighting, yet coding, writing, posting, and oh so many other activities we believe are necessary to keep AT and its community alive.

Don't delete your copy of AT just yet, the next GPlay notification will surely come !

in 3 years i have seen one update. and this one update added Lodar's maze which is essentially one big hack n slash and had zero of the quality writing and intricate story that the previous areas had.

So i have one advice... prayer.. call it what you want.

Take all the material you have; release it in a playable form. Work only and exclusively towards a single new release containing the END of the quests already open. Nor city, Andor's disappearance, and the bonemeal plot. At this point it doesn't matter how good or how big it is because, 3 years on i haven't had any advancement in the main plotline, and frankly it's insulting.

Lets face the fact that the storyline isn't going anywhere anymore. So throw together an ending and salvage what you can.

...or you could just wait until there is a real content update with well written stories, an ongoing main quest and with the similar quality which most of the game already has.

you know, i try to be polite, here most of all, but you joined two months ago.. and two months is not the same as two years ..

so lets do something reasonable. when it comes to this subject, please don't talkrefrain from commenting until another 33 months have passed.

if you still feel the same way by them, i'll gladly eat my words, delete this post, throw away this account, and delete my game.

People are entitled to an opinion, regardless of how long ago they joined the forums, and you can't win an argument by telling someone else they are not allowed to speak.

Here's my opinion. Nobody has a right to complain unless they have contributed something to the game (even if it has not been released yet), or at least put in some reasonable effort to do so. The developers do this on their own time, for free. It is up to them how much of their time they put in, and therefore how long it is between releases. The way to get releases faster is not to complain that someone else is not contributing enough of their time for free, it's to contribute some of yours.

I'm totally agree with rijackson. because he is right. if you haven't bothered yourself contributing anything then you have no right to complain. here I consider myself lucky that even after Oskar left, there are still some persons who are trying to not let die AT.

edit: and I'm playing it for almost 3 years.
