When you give lodar the hornbeam fungus he tells you to go and get him the ingredients for the other potions.NO EXP REWARD!!! Why? i don't know, i think after all the bother it takes to bring it to him i think there should be some sort of reward maybe? I think lodar's potions is a good quest, but when you bring him the ingredients and the fungus, i think there should be some sort of reward.

To clarify, I just completed Lodar's Potion quest (giving him the Spotted Hornbeam fungus) and received 2,000 Exp Pts. I took screenshots, but not sure how to post/upload them here?

Admittedly, 2,000 exp pts at this point (likely end of game--until new content--for most folks) is barely even a token amount..when it's taking close to 200,000 pts just to level up.

So for keeping things balanced & commensurate with this Late stage of the game, you really need to get 25k or even 50k exp pts along with significantly higher potion strength/longevity -- keeping in mind these 2 things (completing the 'fungus' quest ) and getting the potions are somewhat separate achievements since the potions have additional requirements (sorta mini-quests each themselves) .. while the fungus quest basically unlocks the door to those enhanced potion possibilities.

Putting the Fun...back in fungus. seems appropriate

When I look closely, there's a lot that seems unbalanced regarding Lodar. In "Searching for madness" you get 1000XP when you give the Hira'zinn's heart to Lodar. You get 2150XP when you finish "Key of Luthor". That does not seem right.

Is it a bug or a feature that giving Lodar the fungus completes the quest, even though I can still search for and give him the ingredients for the 3 special potions? I had to enable viewing completed quests in order to see it, which seems odd...

You will still need the ingredients to brew the potions. The quest was needed that he offers this special potions.
Same for the Antidotes in Fallhaven.

You don't want only one of these potions, do you?
