I know it's been mentioned time and time again that you don't have an exact release date, and that the best guess you can give is "soon", but ummm...... in all curiosity, any chance that the new version might come out by this Christmas? Honestly, it'd be the best gift ever :D

BTW just finished the last available quest, so now I'm in that I-seriously-have-no-idea-what-to-do-next phase.

Start with a new character lol. Don't overwrite saves though as it won't be compatible with the release. Start a new slot

In particular BWM is very well done. The new maps along with the reworked quest makes it a lot better in my opinion.
To be honest, this was one of the changes that made me scratch my head and wonder "Why?" I thought the old maps gave a certain "height" to the mountain because you were always heading UPWARDS towards the top of the mountain (or that particular map segment) and the way the maps were situated seemed to give the impression that it was a very tall mountain indeed.

The new maps seem to meander here and there and rarely seem to go "up"... and give the impression that Blackwater is much closer to Prim than I once thought.

It's a minor thing.... and one not worth pursuing dialogue much further on.... but that was my impression these last few days when I finally did the BWM / Prim quest. It seemed to be a shorter route now.
honestly... it's just an opinion and only a minor matter.... not worth changing the way things are now as the path does go where it is supposed to go, simply said.
Urbain wrote: Thu Sep 20, 2018 7:08 pmI am still having a few issues; first, the stuttering movement that I mentioned previously. It's worse on some maps than on others though it's always the same maps that it is bad on. The number of monsters on a given map seems to have little to do with it. Maybe it's just time to get a new tablet :)
I wonder if this is the same "bug" i mentioned a while back. My fights with certain monsters seem to "stutter" at times in a way I can't really explain. It looks weird at best and at worst... it makes me think an entire turn has taken place without me actually doing any battle.

NOW you tell me.... after I already sold my Dagger of the Shadow Priest.

No seriously... This was a mistake I made as a newbie to this game years back that I have even now not completely gotten around. I mean, seriously... why should I be dragging the Stone Cuirass and Wolfpack's Animal Hide around with me everywhere I go? I know they are unique... but are they ever really "Necessary"?

I've learned.... Vacor's Hideout is perfect for storage and organization.... but that option for me right now is weeks in the future, and my inventory just keeps growing, and growing, and growing....

Haven't checked these forums for approximately six months, since the status of the new patch was uncertain and 'coming along' so to speak.

But to come here now and read the beta testing started almost a month ago and a new version is soon finally arriving I can't help but feel the AT itch crawling back. I can't even tell the amount of hundreds of hours I played the game last year (I discovered AT pretty late).

I'm ready for Andor's Trail to possess me once again!

And also any place you think you can easily get to. Remember that items that you drop never disappear. Basically everywhere is a stash place just don't put it in the cave with the hirazin 😂🤣😂🤣

It was changed because the maps were not internally consistent. Except in very rare cases, if you move 3 up, 5 north, and 6 east in a cave, when you come to the surface you will be 3 up, 5 north, and 6 east from where you entered. BWM completely broke this. It was not even close. So the maps were changed to make it right (mostly, it's still not perfect, but unless you are inclined to count all your moves in each direction you will not notice the slight discrepancies).

Yeah. I sold Flagstones pride :( As a dual wielder that has DoSP, I really regret that  You have to live with your decisions, or start over.

Back in the days, the venomous dagger was the big thing, and you got it early, but it didn't sell for much, so I thought it was worthless and sold it... We all have to make mistakes to learn from them. The only other thing I did and later regret was selling some Arulir skins...
