With MF2 this took me about 3.5 hours of grinding. I cant tell you how many I killed in the time or how many stones collected. I sat in the top most room and saved the game when I was touching 4 of the priests and reloaded from that spot. I got bored doing that and switched to only killin the 2 priests in the small right room on a save file when killing the rest for XP when one of those two dropped it after the 4th run...go figure. I'll go back to grinding the north room again for speed for the second ring.

Oh wow I got so lucky. I went back to the top most room and started a save file with all priests in a favorable position. I calculated that I could kill all 5 and reload within 5 seconds. Within 15 minutes of grinding I got my second ring. Actual play time from one ring to the second ring was probably about 45 minutes after going on a small adventure to a distant castle and back. Soooooo relieved. Sorry to rub salt in some of your guys wounds that have been grinding for this ring for ever. I have MF2 so that helped.

Holy...I been killing imps for weeks trying to get Rapier of Lifesteal, killed over 5000 now and nothing yet...I haven't used the save reload trick because I wanted to collect experience, but now totally considering to do it your way.

At lvl 76 the XP lost loading over and over again can be made up in a mere hour running through the cave at Lodars hideaway or through the mine so it seemed more beneficial to lose XP and gold for a huge increase in drop chance.
