Modifying the sale price for such items is only masking the bigger problem of gold balancing. The game is really out of whack when it comes to the distribution of gold. The supply of gold is very limited in the beginning and by the time you get to the final 25% of the game you get an absurd abundance of it and nothing to spend it on.

It's the ladder up to the level 25 which is long enough to justify the change in prices and utilise the loot designed by the developers which ends up getting wasted with no value addition to the game. It doesn't matter if it's worth in tje long run. Unless players enjoy the initial parts many might not even want to experience the wonders of the late game. This is something I observed from a variety of yser reviews and comments.Antison wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2020 1:58 pm Modifying the sale price for such items is only masking the bigger problem of gold balancing. As an ardent RPG fan myself, I am surprosed why I never noticed the game despite in public domain for many years. I guess the negative perception might have led to limited popularity

I agree with you. all I'm saying is modifying the sale price of items is not the solution. The solution is to modify the gold drop of monsters. Increasing the gold rewarded for the completion of quests. Yes, the gems are undervalued, but they are also under utilized. Maybe the solution is to add an NPC in the fallhaven area that is looking to buy gems?

That's a brilliant idea! As a player who is enjoying AT a lot the best approach that developers feel the right possible to provide an overall rewarding experience will be most welcomeAntison wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2020 2:20 pm I agree with you all I'm saying is modifying the sale price of items is not the solution. Gem use:
How about you trade 50 red and 20 blue gems as well as 5 insect wings, 1 poison gland and 13 bones to a to be specified NPC, who then finally releases the location of the new rare whip (haven`t found it yet. Happy for hints, probably still looking in the wrong spot).
