IMO there are not postin competition and i never be part of anything like it.

you can hit the members tab up top, and see total post counts...
but there isn't a competition, if anything - quality over quantity!

Already reached my experience goal for today by 8:10 AM! Today is going to be a good AT day considering I'm at work...

EDIT: Ended up with 857k by the time I went to bed. Wanted to get a million in one day, but Innistrad drafts got in the way.

Reached the 10 million experience mark today!! I wonder what I could have accomplished in real life instead... Can't wait to see the scores updated to see if that will bump me into the top 10.

As I have directly communicated with the players in the top spots on the list previously, regarding my "position" on, and with it, I'd like to point out two things to the other players. They are;

1) My signature reflects my status as a non-competitor. I never requested to be on this list, but have supplied stats in the form of my signature as requested of me. Players who are working to make, and/or gain rank on the list are the ones truly deserving of being in the top spots, and I do not include myself when I state that.

2) As I never really believed in, or supported the inclusion of experience points being posted in a signature due to my view of them only taking up valuable space away from your allotted 255 characters, and basically having little relevance to ones stats (partially due to being updatable upon every login to the forum), I today, saw their true potential. That "potential" is now an additional reason for me to find no value in its presence or purpose, as it currently exists. I'd like to believe that this is more than just my opinion, but at least is shared on my part, for the benefit of the other players. If a player's experience points are going to be the method of measurement to determine rank on the list, then a standard must be established regarding when the player posts it, whether or not it should be allowable or a requirement for a player to update, and at what intervals, etc. For example, at best, a player can stop, save, and exit his or her game play the very moment the Hero icon is illuminated from acquiring the necessary experience points to level up, and then doing so, but only if you are not currently in battle with a mob. Therefor, the use of experience points can never truly be an accurate form of measurement, and even more so at times, are misleading.

I realize that there will be some who feel that I went way to deep into detail concerning point number 2 above, but again I'd like to point out that this is for the benefit of other players. Additionally, if you have witnessed, or experienced the bitterness in posts made by some of those much farther down on the list over seemingly trivial things, you'd realize how insanely competitive some can be in regard to their position on the list.

I personally don't see anything wrong with some friendly competition, which is all I see taking place between kpetro an Sarumar. What I am concerned about is the unhealthy form of competition being encouraged through the use of a system to finely measure rank, even if one was implemented that was accurate.
