Re: A welcome, to our Guests!
I didn't know where to post so I'm posting here -- I just logged on and noticed I haven't been here for almost four years! And probably haven't played the game for almost this long. I do recall getting to a "relatively high" level but I don't seem to have that/those characters anymore, I must've changed phones and actually I wanted to start from the beginning anyway so that's fine. But I'm a bit concerned I've forgotten some important things and I don't want to mess up. Like, spending hours killing rats and snakes and discovering I used skill points wrong or something else that can't be changed. I remember I had a strategy about that and specifically wrote down how I'd spent those points (skills? talents?) to keep having them distributed according to a certain strategy. I must've learned it from here somewhere.
I actually don't even have a specific question, I just wanted to pop in and say I'm somehow here again.
I guess I'll try to look for some strategy threads or newbie tips.
Oh, I can't recall but I might've been more active in the Discord, can't recall what my name was. And my Discord has since been deleted for inactivity, oops.

Welcome back,
it is good that you have started from scratch and also good that you don't remember the details how to play. Because we have changed a few things to optimize playing.
There are various styles to play, so you can't make it wrong too much.
Only thing we all agree is that it's good to take the Increase Fortitude skill early.
Have fun playing and trying out

Re: A welcome, to our Guests!
Combat speed can be useful, but I don't take them.
I prefer to have Taunt early, and don't want to wait 8 more level ups. Taunt helps much against mobs like Lodar's caves or the graveyard.
You see, there are different ways to play the game that are comparable, especially since we had rebalanced the weapons some years ago.

Re: A welcome, to our Guests!
It really depends on what weapon type you are using. Or in other words, what is your attack AP? A 6 AP weapon with one of the necklaces and you don't need combat speed.
