Go into your inventory and sort it by "Name" to confirm whether or not it is missing.
If it's missing, are you sure that you didn't drop it on the ground?
So the snake killed you after you switched weapons and your last save occurred after you switched weapons?
If so, then the death has nothing to do with the issue.
I tried sort it by name, but its still missing, im sure ttat im didnt accidentally dropped it and the save before i die is like the save i died

No when you get it repaired, you exchange the dagger for the repaired version of it.
You don't get the repaired version and the broken one.
