I stuck all my extra items in dad's (Mikhail's) house, unwilling to either sell or discard anything - I'm the same way in real life lol
You could stash them in any area you don't frequent often that's also easy to access.
(Obviously, I rested at the town hall while in Crossglen, not being easily able to enter home without constantly 'finding' items)

2 exotiCAT: If you drop everything in the "storage basket" in the front right corner of the house, it is out of the way.

I would not recommend using the baskets as the last thing you want to do is travel to the outskirts of the map and then have to travel back home to bring something from it back to the outskirts again.
I just group or sort my inventory to make finding things easier and quicker. Drop items and pick them back up in the order you want them in or use the new (in v0.6.11) "move to top" & "move to bottom" feature.

v0.6.11b's move up and move down helps sooooo much. I have way too much stuff (I bought out all the stores)

I would have to disagree 100%. :| I find it almost useless when you have your inventory sorted/organized by item types. I.e. all bottled items grouped together, all gems grouped, or animal parts grouped. Now say you have animal parts (say animal hair, bones, claws) and you get your first insect shell. That shell appears at the bottom of your inventory and you have your animal parts grouped in the middle of your inventory list and you want to move the insect shell to group with the other animal parts. You are out of luck as the "move to top" or "move to bottom" will not help you. You are forced to drop all items below your animal parts group, pickup the shell, then pickup your other dropped items. I would rather see a "move up 1" and a "move down 1" feature implemented. Or better yet, a drag-n-drop feature.

Way off topic! Sorry.

Items should grouped automatically.

I agree! +1 I think there should be an auto sort where you can select how you want them orginized.

Name, Rareity, Type, etc

Sorry for bumping this thread, I just stumbled upon it through the related topics... I looked in the suggested ideas and didn't find the suggestion that was made here - that is, sorting items automatically. I don't know that much about programming in Java, but to me it seems to be a rather easy bit of code that would implement this. I didn't want to create a new thread over in the ideas section though, maybe this feature is already in the works or something.

+1 nice proposal. Something like "sort by xx" will be really nice.
