I can confirm that a hit of 0 damage can still inflict an actor condition on your character. You do not even need high DR for this to happen.

Yes that is confirmed by me as well, the snakes of BWM cannot hit me but they do inflict Weak Poison upon me.

Because of the new DR item in 6.11 I strongly suggest to downgrade the benefits of DR ASAP. I have one build ( lvl under 40) and i can easily walk througt the new areas (6.11). I suggest major modification for system. how about if DR i isint automatically ? somethink like "DR gives you 75% chance of decreasing suffering damage by degrees of DR rating"

Yes, some battles last dozent of rounds, but they cannot harm me :twisted:

Enemies that cut through Damage Reduction?!?

like how critical hits wont work on the undead, ghosts or devils & demons?
but, this time... certain enemies totally ignore your high DR when they deal damage to you!!!

Nice idea, i already suggest (some time ago) idea of piersing skill. And i love to see it in practice. Something like; piersing skill 1 level piersing 2 points of DR, level 2 piersing 4 points of DR, etc. And ofcource samekind ability to some monsters too :twisted:

on that note, we were talking about making a thread for all the good ideas that were not turned down.

so many good ideas that are forgotten can be brought back to life,
and brought back to attention...

the TO DO list for v0.6.12 could always use some love!!!
[don't even ask what they have in store, it will be too much to contain until the release!]

it is only over-powered when high-level characters don't have anywhere else to go!

there are answers coming to that problem (when high level characters feel too safe)

[besides - you need to be level 50 to get Max Barkskin]
