With Chars below Lvl 50 I tend to use the balanced steel sword, because I throw most points on defense (don't care about crits at all) and this sword give most offense boni of all weapons.
My highest Char (Lvl 70+) is using the Dagger of the shadow priest, since while hunting the Iqhan chaos beast only the DotSP can kill up to 2 Iqhan chaos beasts wihtin one round...
Guess, when I reach Lvl 100 I try to go bare handed...

I second (or third?) the use of Balanced Steel Sword as a great non-critical and non-Legendary item, and its reasonably priced too. If you have either a RoLS or a regeneration skill, then you just have to find a corner to hide and heal if you get low on HP.

With the JoF and combat speed 2, you get 4 hits, and if you have Cleave 1, you get 1 extra hit for every monster killed (provided you have the JoF). I've been using it lately instead of the ElyR because it offers more AC, and only 1 less potential AD.

I used Flagstone's Pride until I got the DotSP, but after gaining alot of levels I'm now using the Quickstrike Dagger or bare fisted.

Bare fists are full of win as is the Quickstrike Dagger 8-)

With 6 attacks per turn I just make it a point to have enough AD and AC that I kill things within the first round. Throw in a cleave for multiple monsters and evasion so you get to attack first more often and you're good to go.

I like the idea of bare fists or the quickstrike dagger but in the meantime until I get my AC and AD high enough, I will stick with a weapon

i agree, there are benefits to fighting bare-handed...

but i would go with a Chaos Reaper before i went empty handed,

maybe that's because i wanna cast spells?

:D
the weapon i mentioned has a chance to hit the enemy with a condition

IMO Bare handed fighting is powerfull maby overpowered. How about skill "unarmed fighting" to downgrade it a bit.

How would a skill downgrade it?

because you would need that skill to fight bare-handed in the first place?

Example;
-without skill, AP cost is 6 and there are 15% chance to hurt yourselves when attacking armoured monster
-skill 1 preguisite level 10, AP cost 5, 10% chance...
-skill 2 preguisite level 30, AP cost 4, 5% chance..
-skill 3 preguisite level 50, AP coxt 3, no risk to hurst ypurselves
