I like to see those plates in separed (head, body, etc), I do not like that you cannot use necklase and those resistances are owerpowered...

The idea is to have great defense and great penalty, less AP and not being able to use JOF or Marrow is a big penalty.
The perk of being highly resistant to bleed and poison, can also be done with high block or evasion by not letting hit you at all, at no AP or other penalty cost.

The fact is the JOF or Marrow or the DR 2 necklace are so good that not many player would make the trade off and wear a full plate, but does who do would be rewarded with partial immunity to 2 affliction. And the cost is really hi, I am lv 35 and only have about 5kgp left.

I like the penalty part  But if you cannot use necklace there will be some extra coding work to do.... And IMO the price is cheap...

The full plate occupy helm,armor,neck,gauntlet,boots

It one item at full all those slot at once, if the extra coding is too much I will give the stat of all item and the neck item will be named Iron Gorget, Steel Gorget, Mithril Gorget.

I am open to price revision, but the Iron plate should be something a 10 lv player can afford, the steel plate lv15-20.
I am lv 35 and could not have bought the steel plate yet, having 8kgp and having to buy back some potion at 5kgp for 100 is a lot.
The Mithril plate is out of reach for the casual or normal player, only high level hardcore player could afford it.

The mithril plate could be a reward from a dwarven smith quest.

I really like the idea of sets, what you have is pretty good there.

Here's an idea:

Have it so that wearing certain two\three items instead of a full suit of armor together will give you a certain set bonus, for example lets say there was something like (forgive my cheesiness and redundancy here :) )

Thief's Gloves + Dagger of Thievery

Set Bonus: Thief Mastery - -2 AP Move cost\ +20 AD, -10 BC.

Another thing that would even allow this kind of set bonus to be more effective is to use more slots for items... for example, there is no belts or capes, or leggings in this game. Adding those and other things would let players make a better choice rather than giving up their valuable slots such as the marrow or JoF.

well, we are looking to add a few more slots soon...
like belts, gauntlets & such.

;)

btw, your thief gloves & dagger made me think of something.

an amazing ring that wont work,
unless you obtain a second ring to wear on your other hand...
the second (blank / useless?) ring activates the powers of the first ring!

does that make sense?

Kind of like if there were a ring that negated blackwater misery
That'd be almost awesome!
