How will cleave 2 help?
I figured out that getting taunt & concussion will cost me another 11 skills points which will bring me to lvl 84, but then I'll have a char that will almost always be missed, and when its missed will frequently make the baddie unable to attack again...
I'm thinking I'll focus on the crit skills on my 2nd char, but for this one a primarily dodge based character is good. It is nice to have a gear setup that lets me frequently dodge even the Iqhan masters/chaos beasts, enough that I can usually kill them without getting hit. I do need more AD, but I figure once I've got 150 base AC, I'll be able to go mostly AD for the next 20-30 lvls or so, which will make for a pretty high damage build.
As for using skills to boost stats available on lvlup, consider this... The four stats you can boost from skills are AD, AC, BC, and HP.
I like having the high HP, and it will make me nearly invulnerable over long period. 1 lvl = 5 HP, but 1 point in Fort gives me (at lvl 50) 44, 29, and 17 HP and that only goes up.... This makes the value of 1 skill point average to 28 HP, and thus 5.6 lvls per point.
AC you get 12% per skill or 5% per lvl... meaning each skill point is equal to 2.4 lvls.
AD you get 1 per skill or 1 per lvl... meaning each skill point is equal to 1 lvl.
BC you get 9% per skill or 3% per lvl... meaning each skill point is equal to 3 lvls.
From a stats perspective alone, the HP and BC you get the most bang for your buck, so those should be the ones invested in early on. In the case of dodge, it is a prerequisite to a skill I want to use (taunt).

Cleave 2 will mostly help to make more weapons with high attack costs useful because of the extra attack. But if you level up enough then 1 level is probably enough. With each update there seems to be more unavoidable mobs.

but you need 4 lvl to have 1 skill point so....
4 lvl AC = 20% (skill only 12%)
4 lvl AD = 4 (skill only 1)
4 lvl BC = 12 % (skill only 9%)

Cleave is really nice when you fight with multible monster at once. Cleave 2 gives to you 6 AP so if you can kill enemy with 3 hit you can slay all of them in single round...
Does anybody know how concussion work ? What is the penalty and can monster suffer efect multible times ?

Concussion lowers the monsters AC by 30% and lasts for 5 rounds, not sure if it stacks yet...
i think it does, but it's been a long time since i had it.
[btw - it's in the Physical category]

From what i have seen while testing out concussion and Taunt:
I wouldn't use either of them personally. I don't see much (if any) of an effect to make it worth wile to spent that many skill points to get it. As for cleave, its also on my list of skills that i will never end up getting.
I also will never take Weapon Accuracy, Dodge, or Hard Hit. I'd rather spend the points on things like Regeneration, Increased Fortitude, and Corpse Eater

That is a high HP build, kind of tankish character. Where if I wanted a rogue type i would most likely take dodge and other skills like it. You pick skills that help the way you want to play a particular character.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you don't get hit then you don't need skills like Corpse Eater or Regeneration.
In fact, Bark Skin is not needed much either when you have a high block chance.

I guess thus is turning into the common RPG debate of which is better, killing them before they hit you, making them not be able to hit you, or making it so you don't care if they do...
