Thx again! Ill have to go back to gargoyle cave in a cpl lvls, i think. flagstone works good tho for now. @pyrizzle: is it a good idea to put my lvl points in AD then (for getting RoLS)? and i noticed you have many SP left... any particular reason? i.e., planning or challenge?

Yes most def! I would reccomend splitting them between AC and AD as you level up
A friendly warning: You'll want to keep working on your AC because later on there are NPCs that have BCs of up to 175% (and even give you a status effect that can lower you AC up to 70%)
When you hit LVL 20 you will get another SP and you can put another SP into increased fortitude. For every level after that your Max HP goes up bu 2 every time you level
And finally...
Why do I have so many SP saved up on my new build?
I am saving them for a few reasons:
-To test out skill points (trying combinations or what lvl to use)
-In case there are new skills in the next update i want right away
-Because it makes the game harder
Right now I have spent 12 out of 19 Skill Points I have gained on this build.
2 Combat Speed
5 Increased Fortitude (@ lvl 80 +1)
5 Regeneration (@ lvl 80 +1)
7 unused (@ lvl 80 -1)

can i have someone to evaluate my char too? *beg
i've been playing AT since there were only 3 villages (crossglen, fallhaven n vilegard) i think..but i was too lazy to do quests and deleted my chars and made a new one
and now, after not playing AT for quite some times, i want to make a new build which can survive to iqhan cave and those scary monsters out there with as little potion as possible...
here what i have so far (sorry..too lazy to type)
i use
1. flagstone pride's
2. two polished rings of backstabbing
3. vacor's boot
4. troublemaker gloves
5. leather cap
6. villain's leather armor
7. jewel of fallhaven
my skills are (all are in level 1):
1. quick learner
2. inc. fortitude
3. corpse eater
4. increased acuracy
5. more criticals
i'm a big fans of critical hit, any idea to maximize this with my current build?
oh..i havent finish the minnara's quest so i cant get access to her stuff...
any help and suggestions are welcome...

Nice offensive stats mepuri...I would either finish the guardhouse quests (to get Balanced Steel Sword, etc), or go grind gargoyle cave for the precious ring....and add to AC as you go.

You might consider buying the villains blade, which has less AD than Flagstone's pride but the multiplier is 3.0 so if you land that critical hit you'll get more from it. It's a good holdover until you can go into the iqhan caves for the dagger of the shadow priests.

@duke:
i'm currently grinding in gargoyle cave, planning to stay there until i reach level 30

..all my level ups from level 20-30 will be on AC.
@mino
who sold villains blade, is it minnara? if she is..then i need to complete the minnara's quest right away huh?
----
oh another questions :
which should i go...improve AC and AD on level ups or put some on BC?
and which skills should i have? i noticed some put more on inc. fortitude or in cleave and regeneration. i dunno bout cleave and regeneration though..does they really worth it? my next plan is to get combat speed on level 28 and 32. but then what?

AD Vs BC: depends on what kind of build you want, either way you go you will want to add to your AC so you are not missing as often.
Cleave: lots of players are raving about this skill but I want to make it clear that this skill is
only useful when figting 2 or more NPCs at a time.
Regeneration: Very useful for when you are grinding and end up pausing for respawn, but if you are constantly fighting things it's not as effective... for now. This skill is great for lowering the amout of potions a player uses (which frees up more funds for upgrading gear)
Combat Speed: Adds +1 to your max AP. 1 Skill lvl is available at 15 the 2nd is at Lvl 30 (the max level for this skill is 2). 2 extra AP each turn is very handy.

i want to slay monsters on first hit so, it is AD n AC then

yep, that is why i am still thinking whether to take this cleave skill or not..well maybe some other time :p

i use regeneration on my previous build and i have corpse eater in this one. i love corpse eater more though

since now in gargoyle cave, i only use 1 or 2 meats (sometimes i use none). but maybe later i'll take regeneration on this build.

combat speed is coming up next..on level 28 and 32. i am now on level 25

as for combat speed, i think it is kinda useless when you have it on level 15(16) since 11 AP won't have any effect on most weapon

Good call! You may also want to invest some SP into Evasion (allowing you to get first attack more often)
and/
or () More Crits letting you land critical hits more often

I don't use it myself but there are lots lof players who love this skill. I'm not a fan myself (but will probably change my tune when V7 comes out)

--On my new build i have Regeneration Lvl 6 and i love it but I wish I was able to gain more XP while not having to stop killing. lol I tested out adding a SP into corpse eater (SP lvl 1-7) and it made my build pretty much indestructable. A combination of the 2 is a killer combo.

-- I disagree, when at lvl 15 the 1 AP can be useful for when you are using an item in combat (like a potion or food) for 5 AP leaving your 6AP left which can be 2 or 3 swings with the right weapon and JOF. Some players choose to wait until they can get both before spending any SPs in this skill. I take it at 15 just in case i need to use a potion to save myself.
Happy hunting!
