Like tek said I don't think I would use it and it is the only legendary item that I'm missing.its just a shame that its lost its panache or I wouldn't even be writing this post ,

I've said before and I'll say again now, the ELyR was accidentally "nerfed" by the introduction of the combat speed skill.
It used to have its allure but no longer. I used to love this weapon and want to love it again, but I simply can't.

Continue your hunt if you want the complete set, but you will find yourself not using it.

Well let's cross our fingers that the rebalance it to make it valuable again..... it would be awesome if the made it one-handed since the rol will be a legendary 2h.

Nope. The RoL will be one-handed and the ELyR wil be two-handed.

Nope. The RoL will be one-handed and the ELyR wil be two-handed.

... i feel sad, it should be in opposite way.... IMO ROL should be a 2h weapon and ELyR 1h weapon with AP cost 4 !

Tek, I read otherwise but it was on an older post, thanks for correcting me. I did think it was silly a rapier would be two handed. Anyway a rebalance is due for the Elyr, since it is going to two-handed it needs a stronger BC, AD and the actor condition needs a revision. Its current actor condition is Bless, which raises your AC by 5%, that is pretty weak. It is currently not as good as the qsd (which has good stats imo), and the qsd is a rare that is buyable. For the elyr to remain a legendary it should have stats that are equivelent to it's legendary status.

But, it is something that we are all aware of, so I'm sure it will get a buff eventually. That is why I think it is worth getting now, only because it will be worth it eventually. If you have a bed in BWM it is pretty easy, and the xp there isn't bad for 25 - 50.

I voted for forget it. Unless you're a die hard completest you should at least take an extended break from trying to get it.
I agree with what Tek said regarding its value after the introduction of the skill points, combat speed in particular.

Bless needs to be at least twice as powerful if not more. The RoL is so much the better weapon although a nightmare to obtain.
