Monster Respawn While in Battle

There is a difference between "hardcore" and making something nearly impossible.

The amount of grinding that would be needed to beat that version of the game would be outta this world. Every NPC will rush you if you get too close, even beating the rat cave was a challenge (I had to grind slowly outside to gain enough levels to survive, at least to lvl 5 and that didn't help too much)

Haha wow that really upped the difficulty didn't it? Well maybe if they spawned at half or 1/3 the normal rate while in battle?

I'm not sure whether its done in purpose or the system is smart enough to compare as I know when we fight creatures which are not meant for our current level, it will show very hard while fighting creatures which is way below our league resulting in very easy but I also notice when its very hard, the creatures seems to come after me more often when I'm close and when its very easy, most of the creatures are running away while I chase them down to kill them.

Maybe Oskar is thinking of a new skill (Stealth Move) in which we can get close to those creatures without them noticing and even if Monster Respawn While in Battle, there's a certain chance that they won't join in the fight. ^_^

I feel the same way with all the undeads in lodar's hideaway.
A hero who relies so heavily of criticals is getting hurt badly there. Even at level 47.

I stopped using Critical hits on my builds and I was able to make it through fairly easily starting at level 33. I can say there were some close calls though... (Have not used a single Bonemeal potion on this build)

I can definitely feel the extra pressure from areas that have NPCs that move to you while you are in combat. It's easy to get distracted and then killed. I really wish i had a BUNCH more skill points so i could try out more combinations of skills.

I know what you mean Pyro. I reloaded my backup file which is a Lvl 60 so I can focus on my 2 handed sword skills. Also the remgard shield is upgradeable now it stead of 9% BC its 11%

Um, no. it has always been(0.6.12) upgradeable as long as you didn't side with the witch.

Probably because you didn't have one in your inventory when you spoke to him before.
