I can understand that oskar doesnt want fast traveling but I think it would be cool if we could travel to different AT countries

I have vague dreams of adding a frozen tundra north of the river, a desert to the west of BWM (plus new lands across the desert?), and a coastline extending south to distant lands, past Mt Galmore and Sullengard. Whether any or all of those would fit into AT ”original chapter” would remain an open question.

I don't think that will happen.

I hope not. The varying sizes and shapes add character to the map.

I'd love it if i was able to zoom out more on the map. It's difficult to figure out where i am in correlation to somewhere else if i can't see more of the map at once.

Agreed. I wonder if there is a limitation in the rendering somehow?

That is a good question. There would be no point to adding this feature if when you zoom out you are unable to see the map clearly.

Another Suggestion from Earlier that could be a god addition:
The ability to add some sort of marker on the map with a small note

Like receiving a quest to go get something so you mark where you started from and add the description line "NPC Name, Quest Name, Item you are hunting" or whatever you would find useful (I'd put this info in as an example). This way once you have collected what you need you have the spot to return to marked. It would also work for marking a spot you need to travel to (as long as you have been there before) like the entrance to a cave, building, etc

I think the zoom out is limited by the Android HTML viewer. It seems (from behavior) that it is the stock widget that is used. I'd love that too though.

What I'd really love, is to check out the maps from various parts of the world from the in-game map. I currently browse the .html files under the saves directory. By the way, I found some places that currently say "Unable to view map from that location", yet see the well laid out map in the folder :/

I'd love being able to click a dungeon/cave entrance on the world map, and get to view that place's map, and then clicking the way out of the cave back to the world map. Otherwise, simply having tabs, or a map list somehow would rock.

Edit : Just as a side note. This topic would be a good place to note the official max # of places visited. I currently sit @ 370, but dunno if I got everywhere.
