One thing to ask?

Please Oskar, don't make me grind for meat in the early levels.

Include a windfall about level 3 that pays for the hardened iron sword and some better armor.

Grind you must do to make money!!!

Push your limits and the rewards will be great but push to far.... and you will fall.

Be careful adventurers! Be sure to always have a good size backstock of potions at all time!

You are absolutly right, when you push yourself you can gain more XP quicker thus getting stronger quicker. Once you start slowing down or grinding areas where the XP isn't decent for your level the game will get too slow.

That and if u done everything and all u have left to do is grind for l/e items

I know this is old but I have been away for awhile.

If I could change one thing in the world I would change Karma. I would make it immediate so that the instant someone is wronged Lightning or some other event would come down from the sky and strike people. This would make the world a much nicer place where people would try to help each other instead of constantly trying to tear each other down.
