my "new" build is currently lvl 43

Starting out is different than from before.

I was able to sneak my way up to the Crossroads Guardhouse to finish a few quests that can be easily finished at level 1. I still spent a good chunk of time wandering the mainland surrounding Crossglen (Hunting down creatures that drop meats)

For the most part my stratigies haven't changed too much. Well i will say one thing that i have found to be helpful... Take the Armor Pros over the Weapon Pros if you are not having trouble connecting with the NPCs you are facing.... The boost to your BC can and will save your butt from the fire.

Happy hunting everyone!

Nyktos: OP Great post! Great idea bro!

Restarted and had my saves disapeer so restarted again and did what i swore todo long time back which is no crit build (given soooo many high lvl creatures and bosses are immune)
Farmed for meat and such and snuck up to lonefors for the mysterious illness quest till i hit 10 (quest took me to 10 from 5 dul road is awesome i love .7) and farmed up my JoF and a sharp steel dagger and troublemakers gloves this got me exceptionally far especially given my stats were acc/at in rounds of 5 lvls each
Farmed snakes till 15 (got villians ring x2 to round out at 13 and some minor gear for not being naked) and finally QSD at 15 completely ignoring bc% upgrades or my stat and ive been smashing everything from flagstone to burrowers to shadow gargoyle cave np till 22 taking only fortitude at 10/20 and combat speed/dual weild at 15 (saved pts from lvls still have a skill pt atm) for prep at 30 (save at 24/28 to get both to 2/2 at 30)
Things have slowed a bit atm and given my full attack playstyle which atm im doing all AT increases till 30 so dual QsD will be viscious and my dual balanced steel sword will be even more brutal and i feel this first strike setup works very well but wondering where asides bwm at my lvl i can go i csn handle the creatures persay less i get surrounded or attacked before i can hit them first so any tips where togo?
Im sporting the light chainmail from crossglen (awesome addition gear wise btw) dual villians rings JoF leather cap (6bc% one) QsD troubpemakers gloves and vacors attack boots no shield
I see this build being able togo far in any area w the qsd for quick kills once my at gets higher im debating what to burn my spare skill point on atm because ill have 2 needed for ap/dw 2 at 30 and fortitude 3 at 35
Hard hit maybe? Or start on dodge to suplement my evade till i begin messing w it around 30-40? cobsidering saving for
==============================Combined====================================
(sry for long post couldnt see bottom on other in edit on my phone)
Conaidering saving for sword/armor/dagger wep skills though...
Im at over 200 ac 18-30ish dmg almost no bc (first strike theme build)
55-60 hp no crit

But the quest to open that vendor is tough...maybe two brutal club's first! Sarumar, you like the two brutal clubs, no?

hmm:
Woodcutter's hatchet; ap cost 6, AC +9%, AD 6-12
Brutal club; ap cost 7, AC +20%, AD 2-21, ICC +5%, CM 3,0
.. i rest my cace
Very good point Sarumar...but one needs combat speed *2 AND jewel of fallhaven with Brutal Club, I was looking at maybe skipping one of those?

I've been grinding in the underground cave with the Hirathil ghosts before you get to Lodar. I get 23,000 xp per minute there. Then I do something else for three minutes and then run back through. It takes me three minutes to run through there. Right note I have 894 runed sceptors, worth 1,800+ ea! Lol

On another note, I tried to grinding for the GoW and I have MF 2 & 89 reinforced black axes, once again proving that my MF is useless.

Yes it is.
With so many other great skills to choose from, why waste your skill points on magic finder?

to get L\E items faster. i dont think without it i would have never gotten the ChaR... even tho i want hunting it lol. pluas without it you may never get any of the legendary items.ive killed alomst 2k worth of shadow trainers and alomst 1k of shadow masters. but i think what im gonna do is finish getting all the pros to max and fighting style to max the go for mf... or keep putting sp on mf till i get my 1st rols lol

It's not useless, you are just unlucky my friend. ;)

my story with MF is the exact opposite.

I crossed the Counting Items # with my character (MF lvl 0, before it was added)
by the time MF was added i was at 1.5 times the counting #

After MF was added i put 2 SP into it... This time i reached .5 of the counting number for the ROLS.

It sure helped me, but i gotta add that when i started my next new build getting MF quickly became something i knew i couldn't afford to waste skill points on (PROS ARE AWESOME!)
