Believe me when I say it's worth it. Having the RoLS makes life so easy. I'm even considering going back for a second. Even if takes more kills. Its that awesome :)

So I didn't finish any quests where I had to take sides, or it might be controversial in some other way, and I only used skill points on key skills such as IF. I can then build new characters without having to deal with the early grinding every time.
That is a ridiculously good idea. Thanks!

I'm also working on a character template. My objective is to get the character levelled up quit a bit (I'm thinking 50+), have all Legendary items inventory, but that's it: don't use any skill point, don't do any quests, don't explore the map (and go the absolute minimum to get to the places that hat the ElyR, RoLs and RoLS). It's going to take a good long time to though, as without getting any other Weapons/Armour or using any skill points, the character will be quite squishy until higher levels are reached - this means more grinding with weaker creeps and more time needed to get leveled up. Am thinking that I'll apply the level up stats as 2 Attack Chance upgrades for each Block Chance upgrade - should make for a well rounded template character. Might share the save game on the forums here when done (provided Oskar and Scott don't have any issue with that).

I have a few files like that which i use for playtesting when the Alpha/beta versions come out.

1) Level 1, with as much XP as i could get w/o starting quests

2) level 50+, Only has Increased Fortitude for skills, No quests as well

They are great to have for when you want to test out a new concept for a build.

Happy hunting adventurers!

Meat is a young players best friend. Stock up and just have an active sustenance running during all fights. I've found that allowed me, when younger, to complete quests out of my level range.
