Charwood I died. As for the dark tunnel/maze not a snowball's chance in hades I would ever find my way through there. As for the RoLS between masters and trainers I have killed over 4k and no ring.Gained 10 levels, went from 24 when I started to 34 now. The percentage chance to get the ring is way too low. Most likely my last post. Everywhere else is too difficult and the RoLS appears nigh impossible to obtain. I suggest the devs take a look at Crossfire on Linux even insanely powered items are not this difficult to obtain.

i've got my RoLS at 2500kills, and that was WAY too lucky.
I'ts a legendary item, so you get one in 10000kills on average.

For the charwood, I recommend taking a few hundred bonemeal potions and finishing the quests in one go, since the area has LOTS of monsters crammed in a small space, and it's quite burdensome if you have a go a few times.(and although it depends on how you did your char, lv34 should be quite enough to finish the area) If the charwood area is too hard, try the Blackwater Mountain area. It's a bit easier.

JonLin, the RoLS, like every other Legendary item, was never meant to be the one item everyone must get, nor an insanely overpowered one either.
These were introduced to give the most hardcore players/grinders something to do between releases, the idea being that you never ever *need* one.
The gargoyle cave is a nice place to grind a few levels, especially around your current level. The RoLS is just a tasty bonus that you happen to get if you're lucky or persistent enough. I did it once, and got my RoLS after three months of exclusive gargoyle cave grinding, but I don't think I'll ever do it again.

True, you don't need one to finish the game.
after I finished the whole contents in the current version,(at lv45) I just had a go at the RoLS, and got it in about a week(2500kills).

Finally got RoLS! 2087 trainers, 1926 masters. 1052 small rocks.

Plus finally made it through the dark maze and did the Blackwater vs Prim quest.

Finished all of the Blackwater/Prim quests. As well as the first Charwood quest.

Will attempt the other two tomorrow. Back on the path to fun!!!!!

Holy Cow Batman! Just obtained second RoLS only had 111 small rocks.

Also tried the Green Maze 3rd level blue ghost things trapped and killed me.

Finished all of the Charwood quests. Which leaves Green Maze and Remgard quests. Maze is too difficult so I will head for Remgard. Hit lwvel 40 attempting Green Maze. Did obtain the Serpent's Hauberk,, very nice.

yeah, those hirathl ghosts are what that makes the green maze area diffilcult.
it's usually the area you finish last in the currunt version

JonLin, once you're done the Green Maze, you should try some of this forums Decathlon challenges. Some are fun, some are nuts. Just do a search in Decathlon.

oh I finished all of the quests a while back. Been working on obtaining all the LE/EX items. Only one I still haven't obtained is the RoL. Stupid imps are being greedy. Killed over 7000 of them and still haven't got one.

So far RoLS 2, ElyR 1, RoL -, ChaR 1, GoLF 2, ShaF 1, GoW 1,SRoV 2, VSH 2, WMC 1.

Obtained the second pair of GoLF by visiting the tomb on my way back to town once I ran out of imps.

Arg still no RoL.

I have killed more imps than all the other LE/EX monsters combined and still no RoL.

Edit: Over 10k spawn and 10,006 imps still no RoL. On a good note never gping to have to buy any health pots ever again. Gained seven levels so far 84>91.

Does the RoL really exist? Measure items seem to be off.
