That doesn't look bad!
Just a thought, maybe it's wrong, but I always imagined Nor city to be.. larger. And also richer. Perhaps there is a sort of suburb area where most of the people live and then a richer district inside the walls. Or maybe there's and inner wall and an outer wall? I don't know. Not to rag on your sketch, it actually is really good, but that looks more like a town to me. Meh.. I'm really critical.

Also, Nor city should have a shipyard, right? General question to everyone, not just you, Thrimian.. I look forward to seeing a sketch of that.
Again, that's really good, but I personally think it needs to be bigger. :)

Actually I had the same ideas. The section you see is actually the regular people and all the rich folks live in the shipyard whisch is just east of the main city. It's where most of the populace is due to wealth in the shipping business and proximity to better features of the town. I'm currently working on the sewer system and should have the whole city sketched out before the end of the week. I'm hoping I can get some good feedback and make nor city a reality for the gamers.

My suggestion (being poor at drawing myself) is to draw it in four or five sections around a town square - or something in that direction.
[***] [***] [***]
[***] [***] [***]
---(Square)
-[***]----[***]
-[***]----[***]
Something like that... Five sections with a town square... Perfect.
Do you get my intended concept, at the very least? ^^

Edit: I do like your initial sketch, though! Keep it up!

Huh.. That makes sense.
That's also not a bad strategic defense layout either. The way you have it, There is a thick wood to the north, and impassable mountains to the south. An attacker would have to go through the walled section. And, since the rich people live near the shipyards, they would have tome to evacuate while the peasants are under siege.. :)
Brilliant!

I can't wait to see more! A sewer system sounds really cool (Can't remember if it's mentioned in a quest log.. :( ) And, sewers mean rats and you can never have too many rats in an RPG..

EDIT: Lunatic got his post in before mine.. Why do people always do that?

Here's what I have envisioned for the layout. Omit the parenthesis.
Lower___park___harbor
+----+----+()()()()+----+----+
+----+----+----+----+----+----+
+----+----+----+----+----+----+

Took a minute to try and make that diagram haha, but that's the general idea I have for how many 30x30 map tiles I want. The park is going to have thhree or four sprawling houses and be surrounded by a luscious park. The four houses each have a separate part in transporting andastoring the shipments of materials.

Someone that is no longer around (Nyktos) was supposedly working on Nor city. I have no idea how much was ever actually done though, and even if some of it was done I don't know if the current developers have the maps. Zukero or Ian would be the ones that could answer that.

I agree with the others that Nor city needs to be much bigger. It's one of the two principle cities, so it needs to be bigger than Falhaven, Loneford, etc.

I agree with it needing to be bigger. These drawings are just a rough sketch of basic outlines. Just trying to potray the look of the city and a rough design before I get my computer gets fixed and I can begin designing a true map.

Here's a look into lv1 part 1 of 2. The idea is both parts to lv 1 are connected through lv 2.

looks good and these sewers maybe connected to secret rooms where nor city residents try necromancy .
