Yeah, my first character was pre-skills, also. I forget what version that was...I remember when Vilegard was new, though.

When I realized how bad my first build was, and that the haphazard way I started taking skills, I started over. My original one is long gone.

Never tried CE, though.

Corpse Eater (skill levels) pair really well with a Rapier of Lifesteal (or two)? :twisted:

I've thought about a build that's really HP based. Lot's of IF, Re, and CE for skills. Also the RoLS and 2 x RoL. It would hard to create because of the three legendary items needed, but it would be interesting to see if you could get enough HP, and have them restore themselves fast enough, that you don't need potions.

Would you also spend level ups on HP? Or just count on IF as usual?

I would still rely on IF for the HP total. Level ups are just too valuable for the other stats.

I might even fork my current main build. I already have IF 4, Re 2, the RoLS and one RoL.

I would think so, too. I was just curious how far you were thinking of going in that direction. That sounds like a decent balance, then.

You could go Blade of the Defiler (+0-2 hp), shadowstalker (+1 hp) and then go for RoLS, which is only 1 Legendary. then go for the RoL if necessary.

I have IF 4, and therefore almost 200 HP, and one problem that I have figured out with that is that it's really hard to keep the HP topped up without becoming a potion junkie. That's what made me think about an all-in HP build. So I still think 2 x RoL and RoLS would be necessary. I had forgotten about Shadowstalker. It has an attack cost penalty of 2 AP though, which kind of kills it for such a build (or, IMO, almost any other build). Getting +1 HP does not compensate for losing one attack per round with even one RoL, let alone two.
