I don't remember running across a Falstaff castle. How do I get there?

There is no Falstaff castle. I cannot find this in the whole source code.
Its called Flagstone and is a fortress.

Just for your information, both of you near level 20: I used 35 bonemeal potions, 150-200 regular potions of health, probably 150-200 meat and died at least twice before completing Backwater Mountain and all associated areas and quests. My stats are in my signature below. You might not want to be in a big hurry to tackle it again.

Weird. I got a level 12 character all the way through the blackwater mountain quest. What I did was to give him super crit. chances. I got him the villain's blade in Vilegard, the Jewel of Strike from the thief in Fallhaven Tavern, and two polished rings of backstabbing and a villains leather armor from Allishara in the guard's crosshouse. I also got him the troublemaker's gloves, and leather boots. Then I got the world's largest supply of bread (about one hundred) and that was it.
skills: On the first oppurtunity I got the continual improve health skill, forgot its name, and then the magic finder skill, and then finally I got the regeneration skill.
Like that I took on blackwater mountain. I mostly fought rouge fashion, though, hit and run tactics. So maybe that had a lot to do with it.

Level 1, all the way up and down that blasted mountain at least 6 or 7 times to compleat the quests. The equipment you have is a good set up. Go for it!

Increased Fortitude: Per Skill point Increased Fortitude adds 1 HP to your max HP when you level up. (My personal favorite!)
Wyrmspawn: Like that I took on blackwater mountain. I mostly fought rouge fashion, though, hit and run tactics. So maybe that had a lot to do with it.
I'm sure it also has a lot to due witht he fact that when lady black was up there it was before most of the equipment your using existed in game, also there were no skills like regeneration to recover HP (if you wanted that you had to hunt down a RoLS)

I really love this thread. The reason is that it shows what different equipment builds can accomplish. A prime example of this is Wyrmspawn's build. He had no problem getting through BWM with his equipment at 12, but if he took that equipment build through an easy area like Flagstone he may have a problem due to their crit immunity.
I guess the moral of the story is, no matter your build, you need to keep equipment in your inventory to match your situation.

Nah, imunity to crits just means you need to tap harder.
IMO the game was alot harder before the skills were added in, but it was also required an absurd amount grinding.
