Discussions on the Benefits of Cleave could go on for days... same goes for the lack of benefits too.

Cleave 2 annihilates the enemy. But I like to be über god-like.

But don't you think you could have been even stronger if you had used the 6 skill points in other spots than to get cleave? if you put all of them into WA you could have had an additional 72% Ac. Or into bark skin and have a DR of at least 6 from skills alone....

I'm just saying... 6 skill points is a lot to spend on something has only has an effect some of the time.

Or 72 total damege from 6 HH and 6 h/r (hits per round).

But honestly after CS2, IF3, Ev3, Re1 I don't see very valuable skills for my QsD build. However, there is a lot of them for critter.

I see Cleave like something similar to Evasion. You can run, or you can gain more AP from kill.
I think I'll better keen certain skill then be Jack of all trades.

Try Corpse Eater. IMHO, it's better for the QSD build than Regeneration because you will be killing lots of monsters and fast. I'm going to hit up Cleave 2 for my next skill point and after that I have a few skills I'd like to grab: Corpse Eater (2), Increased Fortitude (2), Evasion (4), and then just pile on the WA and HH till I have enough base HP to pick up CE(3).

I built my character with the hope of withstanding all future monsters and mobs implemented into the game. And with clave 2, once they're done attacking, and I start, I don't stop until they're all dead. One round.

and also the battle will only continue if there are adjacent NPCs... as soon as you kill the last one adjacent to you Cleave looses all effect.

Another tip! If you have cleave2 and at least 4 attack per round you can use after every kill flee option to move and..
P = player, x = empty place, m = monster

Round 1 12AP, kill one and flee to empty place
P x x
m m x
m m m

now you have 6AP, kill 2monster and flee to empty place
x x x
m P x
m m m

now you have 6AP, kill another two and flee to empty place
x x x
x x x
m P m
x m x


...etc.... round 1 might last a long time ;) and if yours move cost is less than 6 :twisted:

Sounds like a lot of trouble to pull out. With no benefit except the joy of seeing Cleave in action, thinking you haven't wasted two SP, and potentially breaking the record for highest XP won in a single battle.
I'll keeping mashing them with crits and no cleave :D

I also actively seek battles with more than one opponent, upping my kills per minute. And the increased damage you get us not truly wasted, IMO.
