Pretty lucky! The rol is IMO one of the hardest Legendary items to obtain.

If your Max AP is 12 (10+2from combat speed)
and you get Stunned
Your Max AP would be lowered to 10 (12 - 2 from stunned)
Your Attack Cost would be raised to 9 (4[w/ J.O.F.] + 5 from stunned)
So you would only be able to get 1 swing in (Attack cost 9/10)
Move cost: AP 14/10 (6 + 8 = 14 w/o move cost altering gear on)

You are correct. Only 1 Swing is possible (w/o cleave)
wow, ok... i was wrong.
i had to run over there & try...
turns out im a big fat liar!

i dunno, uhhh...
i blame it on too much Blackwater Brew!

Looking again i think i missed one thing on this.

With ELYR:
If your Max AP is 14 (10+2from combat speed+2 from the elyr)
and you get Stunned
Your Max AP would be lowered to 12 (14 - 2 from stunned)
Your Attack Cost would be raised to 9 (4[w/ J.O.F.] + 5 from stunned)
So you would only be able to get 1 swing in (Attack cost 9/12)
Move cost: AP 14/12 (6 + 8 = 14 w/o move cost altering gear on)

The final outcome is still the same (but you will have a lil bit more AP than i originally stated.)

Math is not my friend.

got a rol
Spark gems: 309

300+ stones and still nothing ... I surrender pard ...

This is my first post. I have been reading all of ya'lls messages with great appreciation for a while now. Y'all have been a terrific help in many ways -- especially different builds! This newbie appreciates you very much. Thank you. Forgive the vernacular, but I live in the horse capital of the world.

Now on to the legendary items … ya know … without this forum, the average player won't even know about these items and will just go on playing the game without even having a chance of getting one of them. I didn't know til I came here.

This game has many different enemies and story lines that are terrific!

But ... let's get real ... one drop for every 1,000 fights? How interesting is that? I'm sorry. But, after 300+ stones and even more potions and gems and tons of gold, I am totally bored stiff playing around with trainers and masters.

My pea pickin' lil' brain needs, no ... it demands more of me. So, reluctantly, I surrender the ring to ya'll. How good can it be anyway?

This character is level 21, Total Experience 162240, AP 3/11 Move cost: 5
Skills: Weapon Accuracy 1, Combat speed 1, Intestinal ... OOPS I mean Increased Fortitude 1, Regeneration 1, and Magic Finder 1.
Base combat stats: 56 HP, Max AP 10, AP 4, AC 100%, Attack Damage 10. No, I haven't begun to upgrade defense yet. 14428 gold
Equipment: Villains leather armour, Irogotu's Necklace, 2 Polished Rings of Backstabbing, Troublemakers Gloves, and Vacor's Boots.
note: I like the leather, necklace, and rings. His boots are OK, but I have a pair of pointed, silver trimmed and tipped western style boots in my closet that would make short work of these dudes. They would add to attack chance and damage points and defence chance and points. For real! The leather will protect you and ... if you get kicked in the deriere by those boots and it will hurt! I haven't seen a good leather cowboy hat or lariat yet.

Combat Stats: AP 4, AC 198%, Attack Damage 21-25, Critical Hit Skill 21, Block chance 26%, Damage Resistance 1.

As ya'll might expect from those stats, battles end quickly ... only two or three strokes. Hmm ... 300+ stones  I have fought over one thousand, two hundred battles in this arena alone ... with only two different enemies. ... that's between 2,400 - 3,600 strokes  AAAGH!!! How much can one man take!?

Don't get me wrong. I love the game. But, this grinding on and on and on with only two enemies for a ring is for the birds. Maybe that would help. All this rote work is doing terrible things to my brain. So add a phoenix or even a lundi to make it interesting.

Naw ... one drop in a thousand fights? Whjo am I kidding ... :ugeek: So, I'm moving on ... sans legendary stuff. Hope I can finish the game and still keep some sanity. I think I had a little when I started.

Lastly, thanks again for a great game and forum! I'm not giving up on the game ... just the ?legendary? items.

BTW: It would be nice to be able to train one of those hounddogs to hunt with you. I'll bet a good bloodhound or Doberman could find that ring wherever they hid it. Everyopne knows what bloodhounds and Dobermans do. A lundehund would be fun. Did you know that the Lundehund breed goes back to the Vikings and are born with climbing skills that seem magical. What a great addition they would make.
