Why all this dark/shadow/troublemaker gear then?
I expected a balanced steel sword, rings of the protector - that kind of stuff!
I tried some other gear too.... it is just hard to bee "good" in this realm
...be warned....
...the dark side corrupts you

That's such a nice feature of AT, everyone is almost automatically drawn to the side of the shadow
The nice and helpfull priests (as opposed to the drunken guards with their rigidness), the bonemeal that is just too good to be true, perfect gear, perfect skills
And when you notice the first not-so-nice side effects from those that support the shadow, you're already too deep in ....
Just to kill the long but rewarding wait to version 0.7.0, I think I'm gonna make me a lawful good build myself, like Sarumar's but with the right gear and all - if I can stand it

I took a look at the gear my Good and Evil characters were using and I think the good one will just have to be a good guy in bad guy's clothing.
And other than the Dark Protector helmet and Sword of Shadow's Rage, my bad guy mostly uses gear that makes him seem good (mainly stuff from Remgard).

This is not really a strategy, but I wanted to let you guys know what I've been up to.
Taking a page from Pyrizzle's book, I wanted a build with unused skill points in the bank. I will use it mostly for testing and if any of you have questions on a skill or two, I will be able to help out on them.
So far I have 3 skill points saved and used 1 on increased fortitude.

That kind of save file is essential for bug testing and trying out abilities. It's very hard to not do any quests or kill the mini bosses. lol Good luck Mr Tek!

Oh yah it is. I've completed all quests originating in Crossglen and Fallhaven. Wish I hadn't though. I plan to level-up indefinitely in the Gargoyle cave. Lots of gold there.

That's a good grinding spot. I didn't kill the boss at the end but used the cave from grinding from lvls 15 on.
I avoided all quests, the ONLY one i have in my quest log is Search for Andor (which you cannot avoid getting, I've tried.

)

I built the same as Tek did. Not so much for the bug testing properties but just to have a blank character to build from once the game finally completes. I figure if I just keep grinding the cave I'll get a Rols for him and a couple of levels so that I can grind for the next L&E item.
@pyro yep quest log is blank except for the Search for Andor.

Builds like that are excellent for gathering information for players who might need help too.
Good luck guys!
