Extraordinary and legendary items

The character I'm currently working on has a single point in MF and has so far killed over 9,000 SGM's with no end in sight. He's going to have stories to tell. After he takes and arrow to the knee of course.

That's the longest I've ever taken to get an RoLS. It really has been a grind but I'm not spending as much time each day on the game. A half an hour to an hour max. I love my wife more than Andor

Anyway, I've come to the conclusion that there aren't a lot of extraordinary or legendary items that are worth the grind. Maybe later when I have extra skill points and nowhere practical to put them I can consider more in MF. In the mean time I'll grind a couple, come up with some romantic/tragic tale for my character, and enjoy the game in my way just as you enjoy it in yours.

I feel the same way regarding legendary and extraordinary items not being worth THAT MUCH of a grind, but I couldn't beat Hira'zinn at level 38, even though I thought my stats were solid, so that's where I knew something was missing. Might leave the Kazaul cave soon tho, I don't have the patience for this...

9k Gargoyle Masters killed and no RoLS? Jesus christ that blows haha. I knew I was extreeeemely lucky getting mine after only 6-700 kills.

Most of the time I had been too busy looking at the item's stats to decide on selling vs keeping, and didn't even notice it was legendary or extraordinary. If the item's stats didn't fit my character, I sold it. Now I just stash 'em in my hideout. I'm thinking of redecorating. It should have more of a funhouse look for my Puddin!

Just a wee update on that RoLS grind; I'm sitting with 1MF and over 11,000 SGM's killed with no end in sight. So my question is what is the known record for bad luck on a grind like this?

I was over 13800 with MF2. I remember someone waiting over 20k, but can't remember his/her MF level if any.

I remember it took me weeks... but then I got MF 1, and poof, got my RoLS! I was so excited I made a gif to post here!

I was collecting info to put in my signature and found that I had 3 Extraordinary items not listed in post 1 of this topic. They are Flagstone's pride, Serpent's hauberk, and Woodcutter's feathered hat. I wondered what other undiscovered L&EI's might be found. Digging deep, I found 16 others for a total of 26. Is there a reason they are not listed here or in other topics? Should they not be listed for the thrill of the hunt? There are also 36 rare items.

Other items are flagged as rare, unique or extraordinary, but aren't rare drops, just unique or limited items. They are all normally found during the typical course of the game. That's why they aren't listed here.

If sexy is still the topic... Sexy is.. when I work my ass off to be strong and plant Hira'zonk into the ground with my Skullcrusher without fleeing once. Then and only then do I feel as I have earned it. This is literally my benchmark for whether or not I move on to a harder section (regardless which weapon I use).
