Once you have the potions yes you would be correct. Potions will take farming time, drop rates are already low, I skipped most insect mobs if they weren't required for my leveling zone. Hope those aren't mats. Repeating the quest is time consuming also, let's say bonemeal is a Req, I spend 15 minutes screen tilting to use them as currency. Now I have to travel to the quest giver, now I have to converse with said quest giver "x" number of times. To many moving parts, for what? I don't see the justification of adding it. It's wasted programming space and time.
The reason for having to supply the ingredients each time was because there were some complaints about the very cost-effective bonemeal potion being too easy to obtain once you do the 5 bones quest (although there are admittedly other quests before getting to that point). Personally, I wouldn't mind if you only had to provide the supplies once, the same way it is for the BMPs.
I mostly looked at my own inventory and suggested items I already had a lot of anyway. With bonemeal as an example, I have about 200 right now, and I've seen other people say they have 1000s. So that part is already done.
But if such a potion never gets added, I won't be too sad about it, I'll just be patient and wait for re-spawns like I do now (or did back when I was in the Gargoyle caves, the Iqhan guys seem to respawn faster than any previous group I've seen).

I understand where you are coming from. I think the hypothesis behind the idea is good. I think the execution of the idea is bad. I'm not against the respawn pots. I'm against adding them before the game is complete, and against the method at which they are aquired.
I understand the desire for respawn and I like the quest...but I'm not a fan of the idea of a potion to cause respawn.
What if one of the legendary items were a bedroll? You'd drop it and - instant bed. When you walk over it, it does the same "reset" that a bed does, including more critters to kill - and it gets added back into your inventory?
Of course, using it during combat would be out of the question. And if you "camp" in a place where critters tend to walk, you may be woken up - and suffer drastic penalties.
Maybe even risk the possibility of being woken up even if critters don't walk there?

That is actually a decent idea, rather then the woken up idea how about a rebuff that represents a lack of good sleep to compensate, make it effect ad, or ac. Man that was really ingenious though, the only flaw is farming for another legendary item.
Being able to auto respawn is an attribute of a legendary item I'd be willing to grind for. Naw, nevermind. I wouldn't. Respawn rate in Iqhan cave is already so good, who needs to sleep?
