I have killed approx. 1300 of the monsters that drop the GoW... I have magic finder lvl 5... My average kill for the drop is about 333... I am almost four times that, with over a hundred axes... I wish I could have the points back from that skill... Complete waste :c

Its not a useless skill. I forget what forum topic shows the % of 5 mf but I think its only like. 03% chance. Samuel put like 22 sp on mf and in like 5 fights or so he got an extordianry item. There's also the chance that you will never get the item. You have to remember for every monster u fight the odds of you getting that item is 1:10000 and that's every monster.

It is posted in the "legendary and Extraordinary" topic in general game discussion... I am very aware of the 'boost' it is supposed to have... I have just never been the beneficiary to it... Took me just over 1900 rocks to aquire both RoLS's, too... I have no problem grinding the whole distance for the items (as I have clearly done) just hate that I invested into a skill that has not returned anything to me.

I wish there was some way to pull the points off... Like trading oogyth crystal or whatever. I would do ANYTHING to get those points back. My character would be 2x as good, easily, with those points on a couple other skills.

Well you were able to get the rols so it did benefit you some. If you didn't have any sp in mf you might still be going for your 1st rols.

.lol. I have been rolling with my same character the whole time... Kinda just developing him as the game developes.... That is the only decision I regret...

Also, up to about 1800 ash spawn dudes, with lvl 5 MF... Still no GoW. 177 axes.

I suppose it is a choice I should live with. This is my original character, and I mean ORIGINAL. I have had to live with all my decisions throughout all the quest... I am eager to see how my guy is affected through the different choices I made. Hopefully, in the future, we will have a much larger list of legendary and Extraordinary items, that way I may be able to reap the benefits of MF. Starting my main over is just not an option... I have a secondary character, but he is just that, second .lol.

Thanks for the feedback on this, I guess I was just being narrow minded about it... So, back to gringing for my GoW.

Is this a fact? I can be grinding for this GoW for no reason? How are you supposed to know if there is no chance to loot an item? O.o

And, has anyone found a GoW yet? I don't even know stats on it, and just crossed 2500 ash spawns, still, with no gem... Frustration is building.
