Instead of move cost I think it should increase the attack cost, coz carrying a shield of that power (it's got to be a bit heavy than usual) and fighting is bound to have some effect on the attack.

Without raising attack cost, it would be overpowered. With high BC there is no need to flee.

as far as raising attack cost... that would make me not use it.

Then how abt AC decreases 5-7%

Too overpowered. Believe me, the Damage Resistance would protect you from most attacks, and the BC would ensure no one gets many hits on you. The Elytharean regeneration would make any few hits that land on you useless, and so you'd be pretty hard to beat. Wear this shield, you won't need to hurry to kill your opponents.

Upon further contemplation, when dual wielding comes up, along with unarmed skills, maybe shields won't be so useful. So, on second thought, the shield would be very useful, but only if you have the right equipment. With the implementation of unarmed skills and daul wielding, I think that shields would need a boost anyway. So, yeah, sorrry about my above post.

With those stats I'd just consider it an item to hunt for but not user. Unless sets come into play and there's a bonus for using it with the ElyR.

For my build it isn't as good as the RoLS and if I used both the regeneration would cancel out.

The stats can always be ajusted still.

Was originally posting this idea with the intention that the sheild would be able to be used with the elyr at the same time (even though the Elyr is 2 handed).
