Make them cursed, so you cannot take then off. Unless you get it uncursed (by a priest? By a quest?) in which case the item is destroyed...

This is true but would probably much too labor intensive to the player to do this back and forth switching. Even if a player did switch back and forth his equipment, no big deal. I sometimes do that with other forms of gear.

Of course if we go back to a potion then it will last for however long the duration is set for, abs we don't have to worry about the switching aspect.

... no, you cannot swich back at will... those items are "curced" ...

I like the idea of a two jewels. "Jewel of Darkness" the jewel acts as a dark beacon that draws dark energy to it. (so Monsters spawn faster). The opposite can be true for the Jewel of Light.

Could go the other way too.

Darkness = Hides the NPCs from you (making less)

Light = Helps you to locate them (Making more)

I would like a potion that "reduces re-spawn time by 20%" and we can drink 10 potions, make the effect*10, just as the monster make a insect infect*7 to us.

I'm pretty sure that if a potion of this type was added to the game the effects would no stack, using another potion would only reset the amount of turns back to the max.

Building on some comments here, what about a couple of configurable buttons so you can easily switch between sets of equipment?

I think that usually players tend to create a type of build (high AC, BC, DR, CS) on one character and for this you need only one stuff. Eventho I often have to switch my amulets (my crit build got Irgotu's and a +5 crit ammy). When I'm killing snakes I put on my Irgotu's so it gives me a 2 DR meaning that most of the snakes don't even harm me (got a DR1 leather armor).
This might be a good idea. Why not create a second "quick-access" tab. The first one will still be for potions and food and the second one for items (when you change an item using the quick-access the item removed goes in the quick-access).
