I played number one way back when, but I never got number two. I am dissapointed in the variety of skills, but I'm still having a great time playing. I'd advise getting it, but wait for the first price drop.

One last warning, It's really time consuming (and you need a good cpu to appreciate it)
Oblivion is a stronger game (IMHO) for the more serious player.
don't get me wrong, Skyrim is incredible...
but you lose versatility & customization in lieu of ease of play & simplistic questlines.
again, just a humble opinion - please don't be offended by my "feelings"

Nyktos, Morrowind was for the hardcore gamers, oblivion was a cakewalk (but it was still absolutely amazing)

Dark Souls and Demon Souls, those are games for hardcore players. The Elder Scroll series are cakewalks.

Got my wife hooked on Demon's Souls last night. Funny that she hates Skyrim but loves Demon's Souls cause it is easier.

I have no clue what any of you are talking about.
I haven't owned a gaming console since 1999.Video games were to much of a distraction for me back while in college so I got rid of them and haven't looked back.
