Well I wanna ask one thing how would you all feel about after finishing the quest the the alchemist ask you (if you choose a weapon from him) that you bring him 2 different daggers and a quater staff and he makes you a battle staff out of those 3 weapons? I want him to make weapons of the gods and armor of the underworld? I still need ideas for items the alchemist needs to make a power source as well.

A quarter staff with 2 knifes taped to the ends... That's my kinda weapon.

If you 86 the alchemist too then the guy could be a master smith and the object could be an Anvil of some kind.

A master smiths anvil could have a number of unique features requiring many stages of fetching and carrying for the PC to go through.
