Anyone had some success in dual wielding the chaosreaper? These two links by Xero generated some interesting theories and I am curious how they work.

I dual wield the following:
Normal- DotSP + FP
This combo can kill most non crit immune baddies in 2 crit hits.
Heavy Damage- BSS + BSS
High ACC and AD. Best all around combo.
Fun- ROL + Sword of Shadow Rage
Drain life, good damage potential and go Berserk. Both blades are also on fiire

2 x BSS for monsters that are immune to critical hits, DotSP + BSS for those that are. I don't dual wield DotSP with FP for two reasons: first, I sold FP when I got DotSP, because dual wield was not available as a skill so it seemed pointless having both

, second, if you already have DotSP and some other gear that boosts CS then FP actually doesn't do much for criticals, but BSS does a lot for AC (especially if you have one handed sword proficiency and / or specialization: dual wield), and has better AD.
I'm currently killing imps, for lack of anything better to do. I wouldn't exactly call it grinding, since I've been at it for a while, and I've only killed 1500 of them (I just can't get into grinding in a serious way), but maybe I'll get a RoL. If I do, I'm going to try that with the Sword of Shadows rage. The extra 35 HP from minor berserker rage would combine nicely with the 0-3 HP on hit and the 3 HP on kill from the RoL. Add to that, I have one RoLS, and 2 x Re, so I get +3 HP every round already. Adding those up would be sort of like having a DR of 35-44

I could maybe live with an attack cost of 5 for that.

I have two Chaos Reapers. Nothing special. The effects of Chaotic Grip are only 10% BC reduction and and 1 DR reduction. And the the 50% chance of inflicting doesn't Appear to stack when you have two equipped (Yes, I have all duel wielding related skills maxed out). I went through a number of battles without inflicting Chaotic Grip.
I've only just tried it though, so my results may not be conclusive. My character is at a high level, so very few battles go.beyond the first round.

But Chaosreaper inflicts chaotic grip x5, giving 50% BC reduction and a 5 DR reduction.

The chances won't stack in the sense of 50% + 50% = 100%, but each should have it's own chance of inflicting chaotic grip. I've wielded the Sword of Shadows Rage in the offhand, and that certainly worked. Assuming they both do have a chance then your overall chance that at least one will inflict chaotic grip is 75%. Chaotic grip doesn't stack though, so even if both inflict chaotic grip (25% chance) you only get the effects of one of them.

Using BWM Daggers to level grind versus hirathil and bats.
I love the BWM gear

I'm thanking my lucky stars I sided with them
