I was working toward a second one, but if Shadow Regen doesn't stack, it won't be that much better than my Villains Ring, so maybe I won't bother right away.

I agree with your decision. The stats on the Rols are a little better than on the Villain's ring but w/o shadow regeneration getting a second rols just doesn't seem to be something i want to spend the time to get.

If you are using a weapon with criticals i would reccomend the Polished Ring of Backstabbing.

Polished Ring of backstabbing:
AC: +21%
AD: 4
CHS: 7

Rols:
AC: 25%
AD: 4-7
CHS: 6
BC: +5%
Shadow Regeneration

Villain's Ring:
AC: 25%
AD: 3-6
Raises max HP by 4

I don't have a build plan yet, but the best weapon I've found so far is Flsgsones' Pride, so that ring looks worthwhile. Thanks.

+1 Agreed.
Although I would not necessarily say that the Villains ring is the right choice however. It depends on your build strategy. Example, my critical hit build uses the RoLS & the Polished ring of backstabbing (I love that name by the way), while my other builds use the ring of the Protector & the RoLS. My first/main build uses 2 RoLS because I farmed for it way back in version 0.6.9 when I had nothing else to do.

Not sure if this will make you feel better or not but I didn't get my first rols until I had around 4,000 small rocks, I have the worst luck sometimes.

At last ! I got it !

Kill count info : i got 644 polished gems while having MF0 (that was before the skill system was released), then 674 PGs while being MF2.
A few more and I would have given up. I really regret having placed these 2 skill point in Magic Find....

Well, I started a new character this morning (Berserker), and he is up to 343 small rocks so far.
