OOoooh I see. Too bad I just returned to the mainland to talk to Vacor... but I need to find that potion ingredient before I take that long road again.
Just a little thought 'bout the Marrowtaint hype currently going on: it's the best necklace yes, but only for now!
maybe next release will bring something way better, and maybe we're all very sorry not being able to upgrade items in Remgard...

Still playing this game at level 5, collected all extraordinaries, now some precious ring would be useful...
I like Mad P's point of view, I'm always good in any game I play, call me a sissy if you want I killed that wicked chick and am happy for it, my character is pretty well balanced and can handle almost anything without too much difficulty. This upgrade thing though, I use a Remguard combat helmet, Champion's chain, JoF, Protector Rings, Enhanced Combat Boots, Troublemaker's Gloves, RoL, and a Defender's Shield - I didn't get any upgrades
Well, I didn't even know about the marrowtaint before reading this topic! I just killed her after killing all those rats in the basement (which, at this point, were surely the missing people from Remgard, poor them ).
I read that the Marrowtaint is an improvement for the JOF, but what are its stats? Can anyone please tell me that so I can dwell on what I am missing?
Anyway, what are the current upgradable items? Can anyone make a list?
I am currently wearing:
-Defender's helmet
-Jewel of Fallhaven
-Remgard combat vest
-Dagger of shadow priests
-Superior wooden shield
-Villain's ring
-Polished ring of backstabbing
-Troublemaker's gloves
-Remgard boots
I am also carrying
-bar brawler's boots
-Ring of shadow embrace
-Chaosreaper
-Vacor's boots of attack
-wooden defender (shield)
-woodcutter's feathered hat (is this the fancy hat you guys are talking about?)
-shadow of the slayer
-flagstone's pride
But none of these items are upgradable, Rothses (the upgrading guy) says he can upgrade most of the defensive equipment he sells himself but I purchased the Defender's helmet from him and he cannot upgrade it...
Any suggestions?
