The warriors of the Spartan City-states was some of the strongest and best trained warriors of their time. Imagine what they could do if they had managed to stick around for awhile longer and ended up with more advanced weaponry... *gulp*

You remind me to watch 300 once again. Loved the movie.
I agree, the Remgard shield is quite ok. -3AC, +9BC (+11 if you enhance it) and +1DR. Still a (tower) shield that is truly strong should be more in the category of 3 DR and more malus on AC. When dual wielding becomes available, it is only worth using shields if they compare defensively to the extra offensive capabilities of a second weapon. So Pyro, looking forward to your Legendary Tower Shield. Got a cool name for it already?

Great idea, the stats. Following certain logic, it makes sense you are able to attack more, and regen more. I would love it if the regen stacks with other affects.

The concept behind having shadow regeneration and Elytharan Regeneration not stack is because they are opposing forces in the world of Andor's Trail.
"The area between light and dark is grey."
I at one point tossed around the idea of adding a small AC bonus but because the stats are so powerful already this shield really doesn't need it. When i was creating the stats for this shield i was building it with defensive builds in mind.

Well, that makes sense, to really start to make distinction between kazaul, shadow and elytharan. Following certain paths gives a different build, maybe in the future you are not even able to use items of one category with the other. Or shadow and ely get neutralized as you suggest.

Yep! I was thinking this could just be the beginning of equipment that is build in the name of Elythara, Shadow,
and/
or Kazaul.
I already have a few other ideas hidden away.

I'm surprised there's not actually an AC penalty...that alone makes it quite powerful

It's to bad that we wont be able to team this shield up with the ELyR (ELyR is going to be two-handed).
