I did a few searches and didn't find this idea, so here it is.

I think it'd be nice if we had multiple choices for the look of our hero when we create him (/her?). Maybe 5/10/more? choices?

I think it'd be a nice touch.

It's far from a new idea, but one I strongly support.

Yea I was doing another stick-my-eye-up-to-the-screen-a-millimeters-away-as-only-an-extreme-nearsighted-person-can-do, and I realized, not only is our hero larger than everything else (even though he's just a small boy), but he's also quite the little chubster. Now when I was chubby growing up, I sure didn't want to run around with MY shirt off all the time!

So yea, I'd love multiple sprites to choose from!

i also like the idea of choosing from multiple heroes - just as long as they "fit" into the world!

i was really hoping to get some critique from our female players,
because a lot of women are asking for a lady hero - so...

is this appropriate?

i dont really like the idea of her running around half-naked...
but at the same time ~ im trying to keep the heroes looking similar (like siblings)

any feminine thoughts?
i would love some feedback...

we talked about making this happen in the most recent meeting,
and i hope to make this possible... not just for our ladies - but for anyone who wants a change of scenery!

Two problems for you, Red Hatter...
1) They're children. Even as pixels you know someone will get upset and claim that we're supporting child pornography or something like that.
2) I believe we have AT rated at Medium Maturity right now (read this for more info) and bringing a completely bare chested female character into the game as the main character who you see at all times could cause that rating to change which may decrease interest in the game or increase interest from the wrong kind of crowd.

I don't know why we don't just give both male and female versions of Andor's brother/sister shirts (that would make them both similar while avoiding the issues brought up above).

Also, the whole "gender equality" thing is a complete and total farce. Males and females are NOT equal. Each individual person has their own strengths and weaknesses that have very little to do with gender, race, skin color, or anything else like that. Bias is a horrible thing. Treat each person as an individual and don't apply generic stereotypes to them based on how they look. Let people be the best they can be and don't try to impose a mythical equality on everyone.
