If you're immune to all actor conditions, then it would have to be a small number of turns, because if Shadow Regeneration is included, then wouldn't Blackwater Misery be too? And having all those items without BWM would be pretty powerful.

Need some pricing adjustments there buddy, I would much rather buy 4 majors than one greater.

ahhh... sorry i forgot to post my though about differences of potions and scrolls.

So IMO the major difference between potion and scrolls is; you cannot use scroll when you are in battle... you just not have the time to read some weird text while some monster is trying to eat you ;)

That's an interesting thought... My main concern is that potions and scrolls have important differences. That's a good candidate, too. Potions affect your own body. Scrolls should be used for other things.

Alternatively, you could have some quick scrolls that take 10 or less AP, but others that take, say, 20, so that they cannot be cast during a combat round, and therefore not in combat at all.

With most of them, you could just change the wording.

Scroll of Critical Immunity: Enemies will not be able to roll a critical for X rounds

Potion of Critical Immunity: You are resistant to critical hits for X rounds.

I agree with the concepts of why potions and scrolls are different and why one can be used in combat and one cannot.

Great brainstorming thread we have here, keep the ideas coming folks!

how about skills to improve potion & scroll use inside and outside of combat?

* greater potion duration [already suggested & possibly accepted]
* greater potion effect [already suggested & possibly accepted]

* can use scrolls in combat (7ap) [new idea]
* can use scrolls in combat (5ap) [new idea]

in the next version, after the update...
there will be new skills which you must train for.

maybe the alchemist could "teach" you the potion skills,
and a mage could "teach" you the scroll skills...

the "Skill Masters" charge you gold for their services,
just as the priest in the farm town after the infection is cured...

V7 is going to be wicked. These suggestions would fit perfectly into the game. +1

I don't mean just wording differences... I mean the reality. The first version is a hack. The second is really what would happen.
