I think for a perfect "end of the game" (or near end of the game) Legendary Item, there should be a "Jewel of Blackwater" that gives you attacks "-1 AP" and cancels the Effects of Blackwater Misery. That way it lets players have fun with the Blackwater Misery equipment set without the drawbacks.

Fun, but I bet it still wouldn't be as good as DoSP...

The Jewel Of BlackWater would cancel the Blackwater misery, that doesn't seem to mean that you'd have to equip each item. So you could pick and choose which ones you would want to use.
This is a very clever idea to take a less than useful item and eventually (thru hard work and a lil luck) you could make them quite useful. The -1 ap is a nice touch i feel.
On second thought: People who don't side with BWMS wouldn't have much use for this item at all unless BWM equippment became available to all later on in the game.

3.3 Rapier of lifesteal (Abbreviation: RoL)
Stats:
Category: Weapon
Attack cost: 5
Attack chance: 21%
Attack damage: 1-6
Boost max HP: 5
Special abilities: gives 0-3 HP on a successful hit and 3 HP on a kill
Location:
From the village Prim (north-west of Flagstone) follow the path heading to Blackwater mountain. There is a shrine at the base of the mountain, enter it and you may get a RoL inside.
Monsters dropping a RoL: Kazaul imp
Monster partitions: (3+5)
Measure items: Small rock (500), Polished sparkling gem (1000)
My current goal.
so far i have collected:
56 Polished sparkling gem (Kazul Imp only)
44 Sharpened gem (Kazul Spawn only)
63 Small rock (Kazul Imp and Kazul Spawn)
25 Minor Vial of health (Kazul Spawn)
31 Regular potion of health (Kazul Spawn)

I'm assuming the Jewel of Blackwater would be worn on one's neck? Think about that for a second. Even if you use one of the BW Daggers, your AP will not be 2 as it would while using the QSD, but instead 4 (no -1 AP, add +1 AP) so you will be getting 3 swings, instead of 6 with the QSD or 4 with the DoSP. I'm pretty sure everyone here agrees that the number of strikes is really high on the list of importance (why literally every single player that has mentioned their SP placement has stated in an almost matter-of-fact way, "and 2 in Combat Speed..."). I just don't see how any amount of stat bonuses could possibly make up for reducing your amount of swings in half, especially when your AD gets high enough that 1 successful swing kills most enemies you face.
