Sorry mine was a usless statement the list is really what matters anyway and if it was that important to me to be accredited with the fifth person to acheive level 100 i would have been on the boards updating my signature regularly
And regardless i must admit your point still valid
it is still impressive how much the skill can help fly through levels faster

In my opinion, having more than a few Quick Learner skill points is only needed to climb the Highscore list.
Some have already mathematically argued that Quick Learner skill points do not help players improve more quickly due to the increased experience needed to move to higher levels, and therefore climbing the Highscore list is the only real reason to add Quick Learner skill points at all.

I respectfully disagree. You can improve your basic stats (AD, AC, BC or HP) more quickly than someone who doesn't have any QL skill levels. And if you have fortitude, you'll gain the extra HP faster from each level up too. But the number of XP you need to level up is the same whether or not you have any levels in QL, so if you have none, it will take longer.
The debatable issue is whether or not using QL is a waste of skill points that could have been used on other skills that have a more immediate effect, because you might not gain skill points at a faster enough rate to make it worth it. And that will vary by player. I still feel QL is the best use of skill points at my current level. I'm not saying it doesn't help with the highscore list though, and I'm not complaining about that either

You can always level-up and not skill-up until you understand where you want to apply your skill points.

Actually my calculations show that there's a point where QL levels start outrunning the XP increase between the levels, which is logical as QL levels increase exponentially (each increase is the old total x 1.05) while required XP increase becomes lower and lower (<1% at level 200). There is actually a point where killing a single monster will put you up an entire level, though at that point you are already over level 1000, have taken QL every time you could and are killing the monster with the highest XP in the game. Of course this theoretical player will have to kill A LOT of monsters to reach this point.
I just think it's cool to regularly level, my main character has no levels in QL and it takes ages to level him. My other Character just shoots by the levels.

I think your math may be a little off. At first glance I too was thinking that same thing, but you do not get previous exp * 1.05, you get (previous exp/1.x) * [(x + .05) +1)] where x is the previous QL percentage.
