The ROL will be my go to weapon anytime my HP drops below 100, but only when the speed potion runs out, otherwise I'd be wasting it. The combination of the ROL with Shadow Regeneration is definitely great for regaining HP.

The only thing needed is more AP, so I might have to put off my goal of level 10 Quick Learner and try to get the Cleave skill first.

interesting - i was considering Cleave as well,
seeing it as the only thing that can make my character stronger in Iqhan...

at lvl 80 ~ cleave + a speed potion = free attack on kill
at lvl 92 ~ cleave 2 = free attack on kill

thats six spent skill points, a heavy price
my original plan was to keep building Regen & Corpse Eater
but im content with my super healing at the moment :lol:
and i really wanna see +6 AP on kill added to my current sig! :D
(12% AC per cleave lvl is not too bad either)

gives me higher levels to shoot for too!
hopefully i can check the ElyR box soon & give it a whirl :twisted:

Now that I've been back in the Iqhan caves the past couple days of playing, I've ended up switching back to a critical hit build because I can kill everything faster that way. The ElyR is great for getting 4 hits anytime I drink a speed potion, but with 46% CC, and 4 strikes with the DotSP, I basically get a critical hit every other strike.

I still switch to the ROL if my HP drops below 90 though. I really wanted to make use of as many L & E items as I could, and I will still use them outside the Iqhan caves, but at my current level, critical hits are still too important. So I'll have to stop being stubborn and admit that the DotSP with Troublemaker's gloves and Villain's armor is the way to go (for now).

Even getting Cleave level 1 is better with the DotSP since that's 1 of the few strong weapons that requires 3 AP. If I get to level 2 Cleave, I'd consider switching back to ElyR (with speed potion).

Still happy to have a complete collection though, and there's always a chance some of them could get upgrades in future updates :mrgreen:

again, i agree with your logic Mino. :D

that being said, i built for the RoL...
[the little dude is a vampire?] :lol:

my current goal is Cleave 2 - with a RoL @ (lvl. 92)
(i will have Cleave 1 @ lvl. 80)

the plan is to quaff a speed potion moments before battle (multiple mobs)
with Cleave 1- one bonus attack per kill
with Cleave 2 - two bonus attacks per kill
(this is possible with the JoF & CS2)

although without the potions there will be no bonus attacks until Cleave 2
i am fine with that because i like the idea of swinging my RoL FIVE TIMES in one round!

my current legendary hunt is now a legendary grind!
almost 1,200 poisons (ElyR calls for 500) :shock:
maybe they will drop two? :lol:

How about evasion ? 3 skill points and you can hit first almoust ewery time = no need of healing.

I do plan to eventually put skill points into Evasion. The next 3 will go towards Cleave though since I want to be able to attack bigger mobs at once (and the extra AC & AD required for Cleave won't hurt either). After that, I will probably go back to leveling up Quick Learner, because I wanted to get that to level 10, as sort of an investment towards future updates - in the hopes that any update will include new monsters with more XP than the previous version. After that I may level up on Evasion, especially since it has a limit of level 4 anyway, and then maybe another level of cleave.

But even then, the DotSP would still seem like the best weapon. The extra AP from Cleave would make the ROL or ElyR seem more worthwhile to use though.

As we are talking about cleave I want to suggest something.

IMO the AP should not be restored to maximum at start of new battle
for example,

I have maximum AP 12 and the I kill a monster so I am left with 4 AP.
Now if I start a new battle with another monster my AP is restored to 12.

If this doen't happen it would make cleave a more useful skill.
just my opinion

I hope this hasn't been said before(haven't read this anywhere) :P

yes, this suggestion was made.

Cleave reads like a battle skill, not a passive ability...
it is helpful in a single battle aginst mulitple foes.
(not meant to carry around free AP)
that would shatter any semblance of balance a game could hope for.

remember the fence in the Iqhan cave?
it was locked up by three stationary mobs
(i think we will see much more of this - raising the vaule of cleave)

just some thoughts... 8-)

back on topic - 1300 poisons and i still cant "check" the ElyR box
is 500 really the marker??? :shock:
frost-bite is setting in! :lol:
